Short version: we process your file, hand you the result, then delete it. That's the whole story.

Server conversions

When a conversion runs on our servers (Word → PDF and friends), your file is stored in an isolated workspace, processed by a headless engine, and deleted automatically after a short retention window — currently one hour for guests.

On-device tools

Tools labelled as running in your browser — merge, split, rotate, watermark PDFs — never upload anything. The bytes stay in your tab's memory until you download the result.

No accounts

You can convert without an account. We set a single anonymous cookie so daily free limits work; it contains a random identifier and nothing about you. It is HttpOnly and never used for tracking.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your files or metadata.
• We don't run third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
• We don't read your documents beyond what conversion requires.
